Wells Under Construction Photos
Below are construction photos of the 19 wells dug and constructed by the residents of the three target villages. Please note neighbor helping neighbor and the ever present children. The spirit of cooperation was an unintended consequence of the communal well project. Each of the 15 or so families using each well went to an educational session run by Water for Cambodia which outlined their responsibilities during construction, maintenance and use of the well. We had some trepidation about this process but I think you will see by the pictures that our concerns were unfounded.
