Sometimes I am blown away by my good fortune!

In order to gain the mobility and flexibility we will need to mobilize in the villages and move our Tippy-Tap supplies without hindering our core clean water program, which is being managed by Water for Cambodia, we hired a driver/translator/helper.                                      Turns out in a previous job Sea, our helper, worked in school based programs using different iterations of the same system we are implementing.

I know his brother Uon and Uon has already been helpful in refining our system to make it as sustainable as possible. We have been experimenting with different size and shape jugs, testing different string for durability and generally adapting the already very simple system to materials available in the villages.

For example, today we are making our courtesy calls in the villages and we will not only be coordinating with school staff but also looking at the availability of wood and bamboo for the assembly of the hand washing stations.
