Our work in these villages started in 2014. As a result, we have been able to observe measurable clean water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) improvements. However, other non-WASH activities are often overlooked when we evaluate our programs.                                            For example:                                                                                                                                                      -The villages now have basic electrical service years ahead of schedule. Perhaps the savings on buying drinking water, medical bills for treatment of waterborne illness, and missed work freed up discretionary income and encouraged private utilities to extend service.                      -In 2018 we discovered the Char Elementary School had a leaky roof. The Rotary Club of Bath donated funds to buy the material and the Villagers showed up in droves to repair their school. That same community spirit encouraged the “Dream Child Foundation” to fund a new school in Char if the Villagers supplied the labor.                                                                                                 Activity breeds Activity. Our Holistic WASH programs have a profound and far-reaching effect.
