Our crew delivered and installed 64 Bio-Sand Filters (BSF) to our anxious villagers
. I decided to make a one day trip to the villages to observe their reaction. What a day it was! It was actually very emotional as the ladies thanked me gripping my arm and holding my hand. A few gingerly hugged me. This showing of thanks and affection is not the norm. However, they understand what this filter means to their family and it overwhelms them.
What more can I say…a wonderful, meaningful day.
I truly hope that all you supporters of this project can share in this experience.
