The Maine Rotary District Governor, Andy Glazier, announced in the District Newsletter that the first District WASH meeting was held this past weekend at Cabela’s, in Scarborough. As a result of the efforts of Getting Water Right and the Rotary Club of Bath ME, eight clubs came together to discuss water projects in developing countries. The meeting focused on a holistic approach to better health, particularly the education needed to improve sanitation and hygiene in support of water projects.
