Next week we are mobilizing to the village complex we will be serving. So Monday and Tuesday we were planning our Thursday and Friday mobilization to Slaeng Spean Commune (County).
At our meetings this week we discussed:
-courtesy and coordination visits to the County Commissioner and three village Chiefs,
-establish locations for the community dug well installations with the village chief,
-since the program has a significant self help component (we supply materials and supervision and the villagers supply the labor) and we will be evaluating the available labor force,
-it is our intention to manufacture the rings that will be used to line wells and latrines in the village of Romeat. WFC/GWR will supply the forms, sand, stone, cement and supervision and the villagers will manufacture and deliver the rings to the job sites in the three target villages. Win-Win!

There was a violent storm yesterday near the villages so WFC dispatched a staff member today to inspect the dirt road system to see if it is passable.
The staff at Water for Cambodia (WFC) has been very helpful this week.
